Last week my sister sent me an invitation to this app. I’ve been enjoying the app.
Everyday, this app, gives you a quote or joke… something to inspire or make you laugh.
Each day has a theme and a host of questions to help you think about what’s important to you. You can answer one question,or all of them!
Then, you can have conversations with others by sharing likes, dislikes, experiences, thoughts on life… and they can respond! Friends, family, and even love notes for your special someone.
I must admit, at first I was skeptical. Since starting, my sister and I have shared some fun and silly thoughts. My husband and I have shared some sweet love notes.
Now, everyday, I look forward to a new theme, a new question, or new insight into people I care about.
This post was from the first week of January 2019.
I way overslept and now I’m trying to get my day back on track It will happen!
How do you rain-in your day when it’s gone off the rails?

This is always a good idea. Today, it’s more important than ever.
With all the news and being self-quarantined, it’s very easy to fall into a pit of self-pity, feeling useless and stuck.
Look around you and see what project you’ve been putting off. YouTube and other channels (like Great Courses or TED Talks) offer great podcasts, talks, and videos on all sorts of topics, causes, projects, skills… Learn something NEW! OR, pickup an old hobby. Enjoy quite time and use it for self reflection and personal growth. Build stronger relationships with the loved ones you live with. Write letters to friends and loved ones far away. Be an example.
However you choose to deal with this weird world we are living in, PLEASE Self-DISTANCE!!! Stay home, if your job does not require you to be out.
PRAY for the medical staff, police, emergency workers, Home Health Aids, Grocery and Pharmacy workers, city workers, bankers, plumbers, electricians, and others that HAVE to be out, and At Risk. PRAY for the families who worry and support them. These HEROES show up so that we can be safe. DON’T take their sacrifice lightly.
